Afrika Bambaataa founded the Zulu Nation. Which contained many Street-dancers crews, graffiti artists and Rappers.
As we continue on the path to The Land of Kush, here’s another emcee that eye have met and journeyed with along the way who goes by the name 810. We both grew up in East Baltimore learning many different values along the way and I’m proud that we’re both still standing today. Lyrically, this dude is sharp with his pen and growing up all eye remember is him killing every cypher!
Something to Prove is a video from his new project, The Real World, an opus on the struggle to balance virtues and vices on the narrow road to success. This is lyrical excellence of the rarest air If you can’t dig that..where ya soul at?
Stay tuned … “…from The Land of Kush" is almost here.
On the road to the LOK album release it was a pleasure of mine to reconnect with an old friend Y1. The homie recently released a new 810-directed video entited “Coming Soon" and as our team wraps up the "…from The Land of Kush" project, it’d be great if you could show him the same love and check out his new video.
After enjoying the Cali Kush life, he recently came back to PEDX in Baltimore to hold a release party. We’ve been down on the beats & rhymes tip since back in the day and his passion for the mic shines bright. Stay tuned for his “Recreation" album and of course there will be more Sun Zulu "…from The Land of Kush" very soon.
